EU vows support to Armenian’s commitment to reforms in justice sector

Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan received on Tuesday  the delegation headed by Vassilis Maragos, he Head of the DG NEAR Unit at the European Commission responsible for Armenia. As the minister press service reported, the EU Ambassador to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin and Deputy Minister of justice Kristine Grigoryan were present at the meeting.

The minister thanked the European partners for the efficient cooperation and presented the agenda of justice reforms in Armenia. The minister also informed about the launch of process for constitutional reforms. The parties touched upon issues related to judicial  and police reforms.

Vassilis Maragos highlighted the commitment for justice reforms and expressed the comprehensive support of the European Union for the ongoing initiatives, the source said.
