JUSTICE MINISTER TO RUN IN ELECTIONS ON PROPORTIONAL LIST

Armenian Justice Minister Davit Harutunyan, said in an exclusive interview to RFE/RL that he is going to run on proportional list during the parliamentary elections. He did not name the party he will join.

“I think I will not run on majority list because I am not prepared and have no time to do it now. I think that, yes, I will run on proportional list,” the minister said.

Asked about the possibility to join Prosperous Armenia, the minister said he had promised to name the party he will join at the end of the year. “At the moment, I am not ready to tell which party I will join.” Speaking about working in Robert Kocharyan’s supporting team, he said he has been in that team since 1997 and considers himself member of that team.
