NUMBER OF IT STUDENTS HAS TO GO UP BY 10 TIMES

Demand for IT specialists has increased so largely in Armenia that now it is necessary to increase the number of students of IT departments by 10 times, Education Minister Levon Mkrtchyan said. He emphasized that any graduate of IT department of a university is able to find a proper job in Armenia.

"We have to develop system of interconnection between employers and the universities which will allow analyzing the labor market, carry out selection of necessary specializations and secure necessary quantity of future specialists in the universities in accordance with market demand”, Minister noted.
