APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED FOR ORGANIZING A FESTIVAL

The South Caucasian Festival of Human rights and Peace titled “I am human” is planned to be held from April to October, 2008. This is the first over festival of its sort in Armenia. It has not found organizers in Armenia yet. The organizers must submit application to an organizational committee. Twenty five most interesting applications from Armenia and other areas of South Caucasus will be selected that will propose non-standard ideas and peace initiations.

The festival will show documentaries in movie buses across different regions of South Caucasus. The organizers say the film shows will be followed by public discussions that are an important component of the festival.

The festival is not an award giving event. The jury will select documentary on reconciliation and conflict settlement.
