Radical changes in the pension system expected in Armenia

Armenian Government has approved the draft package on making amendments and supplements to the RA law on “State pensions” and 53 others.

This marks the beginning of a difficult, but necessary process of carrying out radical changes in the pension system, PM Tigran Sargsyan said. The National Assembly has conducted a detailed discussion of the draft package.

Nevertheless, the draft is still a long way to take both in the legislative body and different layers of the society.
