Swine Flu counts about 14 thousand casualties

This week, the World Health Organization said that at least 14,142 people had died of the A/H1N1 flu world-wide. But these figures aren't comparable, as WHO counts only laboratory-confirmed cases, but it’s common knowledge that this is a significant undercounting of the total. A week ago WHO announced about 13554 casualties. It was also noted that not all states agreed to provide information about the laboratory confirmed cases. It’s said that the plague was actively spread in Northern Africa, Southern Asia, Central and Western Europe, particularly in Poland, Austria, Estonia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova.
