Poliomyelitis recorded in Russia

 The first case of poliomyelitis is recorded in Russia. 9-month-old baby, a citizen of Tajikistan is reported to be infected with the disease, Russian media reported RF Health Ministry representative as saying.  

According to the source, 52 clinical cases of the disease have been recorded, 13 of which passed away. 90% of the sick are children.
