250 authors from 27 countries have submitted participation application to “One frame, one minute” 8th short film international festival, Director and the founder of the festival Gagik Ghazare told at news conference.
The official opening ceremony of the festival took place on May 17 in IEAC and is to last until May 24. The participants of the festival are from different countries – USA, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Germany, Armenia, Greece, Hungary, Russia, France and other countries.
The founder of the festival reminded when in 2003 the festival was launched it wasn’t an international one. Hey had only 13 participants. T
According to the director the mission of the festival is to support the young authors, to contribute them to represent themselves.
The festival has several nominations – “One frame, one minute”, “Short films”, “Award of participating authors”, “Journalists’ sympathy”, “Film without borders”.
“One frame, one minute” nomination includes 55 films, 39 are included in the contest, “Short films” include 23 films.
The head of jury Michael Dovlatyan signified the festival since it differs from other festivals.
