In the aftermath of negotiations with the Georgian side the traffic of cargo vehicles (trucks) has been approved since May 22 through “Upper Lars-Kazbeki” check point, Susanna Tonoyan, the press speaker of the Ministry of Transport and Communication reported.
It’s worth reminding that because of climatic conditions the traffic of trucks were banned and only small passenger cars were allowed to pass the check point.
The check point is open from 06:00 to 22:00 in March - November, and from 07:00 to 19:00 in November-March.
