“Eurovision Junior 2010” application submission goes on

 Though “Eurovision Junior 2010” application procedure deadline grew closer, Armenian Public TV posted new deadline until August 5. To Panorama.am question what made the company to expand the deadline of application submission, the answer was many just didn’t manage to meet the previous deadline and particularly strong competency field is of great significance.       

10-15-year-old Armenian young singers living in Armenia and abroad can submit their applications to the preliminary phase of the contest. Solo singers, duets and groups of 6 members may also submit applications.  
The first phase of the contest will take place in Yerevan. Public TV jury members will select 30 best songs. The final results will depend on jury, 50% and on SMS voting, 50%.
Minsk will host “Eurovision Junior 2010” on 20 November. Eurovision Junior song contest is organized since 2003. Children aged 10-15 are welcome to attend the contest.

In 2007 Armenia had its first performance to the contest – the representatives of “Arevik” group gained 2nd horizontal, in 2008 Monika Manucharova gained 8th and in 2009 Laura Hayrapetyan was qualified on again on the 2nd horizontal.
