National Assembly endorses disputed bills

National Assembly endorsed today the bills on making amendments to the “Law about Language” and “Law about Education” with 71 pro, 13 con and 1 abstinent votes. The only MP to remain abstinent was Lyova Khachatryan.

Note that Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan urged the opposition MPs Wednesday to vote for the bill.
