Boxing: Darchinyan vs Mares due by yearend

IBO bantamweight champion Vic Darchinyan will return to action by the yearend. Boxingscene.com was advised by promoter Gary Show that negotiations are outgoing for Darchinyan to defend his IBO title against Abner Mares. The fight, according to Mares, could take place in either November or December.
