Turkish banks cease money transfer to Iran

Turkish banks cease money transfers to Iran, Iranian “asriran.com” reported citing Yunes Hormoz, the president of Iranian Mellat bank board in Turkey.

“Some Turkish banks which have close cooperation with American and European banks, ceased money transfers to Iran after the declared UN sanctions.”

Mellat bank requested a few other Turkish banks to do money transfers, but still waits for any answer, paper writes.
