Slovenia's President, Armenian PM discuss perspectives of economic development
As part of his official visit to Armenia the President of Slovenia had a meeting with the Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan today. Governmental press office informed that in honor of the guest a working dinner was served during which the Prime Minister presented the economic situation in our country and development perspectives. Upon the request of the Slovenian President, Tigran Sargsyan presented the events undertaken by the Armenian government toward overcoming the consequences of the global financial-economic crisis. They also referred to the reforms implemented in Armenia, and particularly to the pension reforms.
The interlocutors also discussed opportunities for cooperation in a number of spheres. In this pre-context the parties rated high the forum held in Yerevan with the participation of the Armenian and Slovenian businessmen and the necessity of using the whole existing potential.
Slovenian President also spoke about the importance of holding Armenia’s culture days in his country. It is remarkable that a number of events the President honored with his presence.
