Pingdom research: Russian internet connection speeds 27th

 Pingdom has published research results recently which found 43% of the Russian population is now connected to the internet and enjoying an average connection speed of 2.6mbps, ranking Russian connection speeds 27th worldwide and well above the global average speed of 1.8mbps.

Experts say Spain has more advantageous place – 26th horizontal with 2.8mbps. Southern Korea has leading place recording 16,6mbps, in Honk Kong it is 8.6mbps and in Japan – 8mbps.
