Armenian language and literature to be taught in University of Igdir

 Department of Armenian language and literature will be opened in faculty of philology in University of Igdir next year, Turkish “Zaman” writes referring to the rector of the university Ibrahim Hakky Yilmaz.

According to the source professors from Armenia or Nakhijevan will be invited to teach the language.

It’s reported that department of Persian and Russian will also be opened. The university was founded in 2008.
