World Champion’s qualifiers: Levon Aronian vs. Grishchuk

 As Magnus Carlsen did not meet his deadline to sign a contract for World Champion’s title with FIDE, he was replaced with Grischuk. The rest of the qualifiers confirmed their participation in the candidates’ matches, armchess.am reported.

The following matches are registered to at the first round of the qualifiers' matches: Aronian-Grischuk, Kramnik-Radjabov, Topalov-Kamsky, Gelfand-Mamedyarov. In case of a victory over Grischuk, Aronian will meet with the winner of the match Kramnik-Radjabov.

We remind that the qualifiers' matches will be held in Kazan, Russia in May, 2011.
