Cholera death toll in Haiti rose

The cholera death toll in Haiti rose to 4,549, Haitian Health authorities said on Wednesday.

According to information from Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital, the Public Health and People's Ministry (MSPP) said in a recent report that the figures were updated till Feb. 9.

The cholera outbreak began on October 2010 in Haiti and since then it has affected 231,070 people, 124,482 of them were hospitalized.
