Krikor-Sevag Mekhitarian in Reykjavik open

 Armenian GM Krikor-Sevag Mekhitarian (Brazil) scored 6 points out of 9 and took the 28th place among the 166 participants of the open which was held in Reykjavik, Iceland, “armchess.am” informs.

Mekhitarian was one point behind the players who shared the 1st-6th places - Yuriy Kuzubov, Vladimir Baklan, Illya Nyzhnyk (Ukraine), Ivan Sokolov (Netherlands), Kamil Miton (Poland), Jon Ludvig Hammer (Norway). Kuzubov took the first prize in the tie-break.
