Belarusian weightlifter Sergey Lagun died in car accident

Belarusian weightlifter Sergey Lagun, who has performed in Olympic Games, is holder of bronze and silver medals from world championships, world and Europe youth champion, died in a car accident.

Russian media outlets report that speeding high, the sportsman lost the control over his “Peugeot-206”, crashed against a tree and died on spot.

It’s said that another Belarusian weightlifter Yevgeni Jernosek was in the same car and that he’s in the department of rehabilitation.
