World Music Day is marked in Armenia

 Yerevan celebrates on June 21 World Music Day, which is being marked in Armenia for the fifth time.

Diverse musical performances – classical, choral, popular, jazz, rock, electronic, can be heard in the central streets in Yerevan and in open-air cafes. Since 2009 by the initiative of the Ministry of Culture Music Day is being marked in the regions.

Culture Ministry press service informs the festive musical events will kick off at 11.30 and finish late at midnight.
