Maradona: If I were Batista I would resign

 Ex-coach for Argentina Diego Maradona criticized the running coach Sergio Batista saying if he was Batista he would resign following the side’s early Copa America exit.

“If I had only beaten Costa Rica, I would have gone of my own accord,” AS quotes Maradona as saying.

“I cannot speak too much as I don’t see the games,” Maradona said.
International media outlets report the Argentinean Football Association insists Batista will keep his position, while Maradona describes it as a poor one.
