EU and IMF agreed on 109 billion euro bailout for Greece

The Euro-zone leaders and International Monetary Fund agreed on a new 109 billion euro bailout for Greece to prevent the debt crisis. “BBC” writes the decision was adopted Thursday in Brussels.

Greece is also supposed to get 40 billion euro within the forthcoming three years from banks and private investors. This issue still needs to be adopted in the parliament.

Greek PM Georgios Papandreou hailed the decision of the Euro-zone leaders.
