Explosion in Iran-Turkey gas pipeline halts gas supply

 Iran-Turkey gas pipeline blasted early on Friday in the aftermath of which Iranian gas supply to Turkey has been halted, Iranian “MEHR” news agency reported.

According to the source, every day 30 million cubic meters gas is being supplied to Turkey. In 1996 Iran and Turkey signed a treaty for 25 years which defines annual export of gas to Turkey 10 billion cubic meters.
