Tigran Jrbashyan: Banking sector consolidation to continue at high speed

Armenia’s banking sector is inefficient. Amalgamation, consolidation and purchase are the main steps aimed at raising the efficiency of the banking sector. These processes will become more active in the future, Ameriabank’s Development Director Tigran Jrbashyan told a news conference.

“Banking sector consolidation will continue at a high speed, not only because we deal with a crisis but also because we seek to raise banking sector efficiency.”
