Armenian national team at World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad

The Armenian youth national team beat Indian team 3-1 in the third round of the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad in Izmit, Turkey. Karen Grigoryan beat Grover, Hovhannes Gabuzyan beat Girish, Tigran Harutyunian beat Antonio and Arman Mikaelyan lost to Prince.

After three rounds, the Armenian team tops the tournament table with 10.5 points. The Georgian and Azerbaijani teams run second and third with 10 and 9 points, respectively.

The Armenian team faces the Georgian team in the fourth round.
