Armenia leads European team championship

 In the 8th round of European team championships, that is being held in the Greek city of Porto Carras, Armenian men team has defeated the Dutch team in 3:1 and leads the championship having scored 13.

Levon Aronian and Vladimir Akopian defeated Giri Anish and Sokolov Ivan resp. Sergei Movsessian and Gabriel Sargissian ended in draw with Van Wely and Stellwagen Daniel resp.

In the reporting round Azerbaijan lost to Germany. Today, in the 9th round Armenia vs. Germany meeting will take place.

The Armenian team still have the chances to leave its rivals back if records a victory today.
