Ankara intends banning education for immigrant Armenians

 Turkish authorities develop a program related to the registration and education issues of the children of immigrant Armenians. Fathma Shahin, Minister of family and social policy issues, has declared the children of immigrant Armenians cannot get a passport and be authorized to study. Turkish “Habergec” news site said appropriate mechanisms have launched in this respect.

According to the source children of Armenians who don’t have right of residence in Turkey cannot study in Armenian schools attached to the Education Ministry. Although in the reporting year Turkish Ministry of Education has granted status of guests for those children.
