Samvel Ter-Sahakyan beat Rosen in the 8th round, U18 group, at the World Youth Chess Championships in Caldas Novas, Brazil. Samvel continues to dominate the championships with 7.5 points.

Robert Aghasaryan beat Gaitan. He is 14th with 5.5 points.

In U16 group, Hovhannes Gabuzyan lost to Cori and Karen H. Grigoryan beat Izzat. Grigoryan went up to 7th place with 6 points and Gabuzyan went down to 9th place with 5.5 points.
