Varuzhan Akobian wins American Open

GM Varuzhan Akobian scored 7 points out of 8 and won the American Open chess tournament hosted by Orange City.

GM Melikset Khachiyan and FM Harutyun Akopyan, scoring 5 points each, respectively, took 5th and 8th places among 28 participants, according to armchess.am.
