Armenian mountaineers reach first camp

 Armenian mountaineers are successfully approaching the first camp on Demavend, the highest mountain in Iran (5671 meters), Suren Danielian, Vice President of Armenian Federation of Mountaineering and Mountain Tourism, told Panorama.am correspondent.

Tomorrow our mountaineers will conquer the second camp and keep the peak as their target. 216 mountaineers from Iran, France, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Turkey and other countries participate in international mountaineering.
