Hrant Melkumyan becomes Chess960 champion

GM Hrant Melkumyan became Armenian Chess960 (Fischer Random Chess) champion of 2012.

Melkumyan scored 6 points out of 7 at the Second Armenian Chess960 Championship held in Yerevan.

GMs Zaven Andriasian and Levon Babujian took second and third places, with 5 and 4 points, respectively.
