Snow to do good to crop - Agriculture Minister

Snow will do good to the crop, Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan told reporters. The heavier the snow, the richer the crop, said the Minister.

According to him, much water will be accumulated in reservoirs after heavy snowfall, so there will be no problem during the irrigation season.

“Snow is very good for agriculture,” noted Karapetyan adding that there is no danger of frost.
