Vardanik is sad

Hayatsk daily writes that Mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan is sad for having to pay USD 145,000 for Hovhannes Tumanyan’s Tbilisi house. According to the newspaper, the authorities have forced him to buy the house to donate it to the Armenian community of Georgia or to the church. The newspaper asked Gyumri Mayor for a comment but “in response he said sadly that he did not want to answer our questions.”
