Sevag Mekhitarian winner of Brazil Open

 Grand Master Krikor-Sevag Mekhitarian scored 6 points out of 7 and took the first prize at the 2nd Brazil Open held in Fortaleza, Armenian chess federation website report says.

According to the source the same results showed GMs Cubas (Paraguay), Vescovi and El Debs (Brazil) but they were behind the Armenian chess player on tie-break.
