Marxist David Hakobyan to run for president

Chairman of Marxist Party of Armenia David Hakobyan is going to run for president.

“My participation in the parliamentary elections is a prelude to the presidential race,” the Marxist told reporters in Yerevan.

“The people prepare to elect the fourth president. They will send a new type of politician to the political battlefield, who can become the founder of new economic policy,” Hakobyan said. “The new state machine should build new economy. Not our physical but biological security is endangered, and the only way to improve the situation is to build new economic policy.”
