Zhoghovurd: Hayastan department store’s owner beats security officer

According to Zhoghovurd, owner of Hayastan department store Hayrapet Hayrapetyan in a drunken condition went to the department store Sunday evening and began shouting at workers, including the security guard. He drew the security guard out of the department store and beat him. The security officer was rushed to Armenia Medical Center.

“He is still in hospital but the official records show him having been drunk and having fought with someone in the street,” the paper says.
