Armenian official beaten in robbery attempt

Deputy Head of Armenian State Nature Protection Inspection Arthur Gevorgyan was violently beaten on April 6 morning outside his mansion in Yeghvard, Zhoghovurd reports. The paper asked him whether he had any enemies and whom he suspects of having committed the violence.

“It was an attempted robbery. When I become more stable physically, I will say it, if necessary,” the paper quotes the official as saying.
