Camera installed in Mashtots Park – paper

A camera has been installed in Mashtots Park, according to Hraparak. Young activists asked senior police officers to explain the purpose of installing a camera in the park. Police answered that the Mayor’s Office has installed it and they should ask for an explanation there.

“We guess the camera is a means of exerting psychological pressure, a means of intimidation. They collect “materials” for suing activists and particularly those who try to dismantle the constructions of the park,” the paper says.
