Hanrapetutyun (Republic) party leader Aram Sargsyan is determined to give up his MP mandate if elected to parliament, Zhoghovurd reports, citing well-informed sources. Sargsyan’s supporters announce that their leader does not target a parliament seat. Therefore Hanrapetutyun will quit Armenian National Congress after elections, the paper says.
Having promised not to speak out until the results of the elections are known, Aram Sargsyan refused to comment on the issue, the paper says.
