Armenian chess players at U.S. Chess Championship

Armenian GM Varuzhan Akobian has scored 1.5 points in two rounds and is in the lead along with five other players at the U.S. Chess Championship in Saint Louis.

Armenian WGM Tatev Abrahamyan has also scored 1.5 points out of 2 at the U.S. Women's Championship. She is 0.5 points behind the leading player, WGM Anna Zatonskih, website of Armenian Chess Federation reported.
