Varuzhan Akobian finishes 4th in U.S. Chess Championship

GM Varuzhan Akobian finished 4th in the U.S. Chess Championship in Saint Louis, scoring 6 points out of 11.

Hikaru Nakamura won the Championship with 8.5 points.

WGM Tatev Abrahamyan finished 6th in the Women's Championship, scoring 4.5 points in 9 rounds.

Anna Zatonskih and Irina Krush share 1st-2nd places. The winner will be decided in the tiebreak, website of Armenian Chess Federation reported.
