Eurovision 2012 1st semi-final kicks off today

 “Eurovision 2012” international song contest kicks off today in Baku. 42 countries are attending the contest with 17 of them appearing today on stage during the first semifinal. Favorites of the first semifinal are Russian “Buranovskiye babushki” (Buranov grannies), Romanian and Greek representatives.

The second semi-final will take place on May 24 and the final on May 26.

Armenia has withdrawn from the Eurovision 2012 song contest.
