Russian grannies qualified for Eurovision 2012 finals

 Russian representatives at “Eurovision-2012” international song contest Buranovskiye Babushki have been qualified for the finals. In a news conference following the contest, the Russian grannies thanked those who voted for them.

“I was afraid we could not sing,” one of the grannies said.

The countries qualified to the final are Romania, Moldova, Iceland, Hungary, Denmark, Albania, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland. The second semi-final will be held tomorrow, and the final - on May 26.
