Haykakan Zhamanak: Two apply for position of Linguistic University Rector

According to Haykakan Zhamanak, two candidates have applied for the position of Rector of V. Brusov State Linguistic University of Yerevan: Acting Rector Gayane Gasparyan and Vagharshak Madoyan, both lecturers at the University.

The paper notes that University Prorector Gabriel Balayan was appointed Acting Rector shortly after Rector Zolyan’s dismissal, however, he does not meet the requirements for the position of Rector, because Rector must be Professor Doctor of Science, while Gabrielyan is a Candidate of Law.
