Higuain rejects Tottenham move

Tottenham have been rebuffed in a bid to lure Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid, Daily Mail reported.

Intermediaries acting on the club's behalf sounded out the Argentina striker, 24, about a switch to London but he has decided he wants to stay in Madrid.

Higuain, who has also been targeted by Chelsea and Manchester City, struggled to earn a starting place in Madrid last season but has opted to fight for his place.
