Shakhtar Donetsk ready to make Guardiola lucrative offer

Shakhtar Donetsk are eyeing an attempt to persuade Josep Guardiola not to embark upon a planned year-long sabbatical, Inside Football reported.

The Ukrainian champions are thought to be ready to pay the former Barcelona boss €14m per season.

It seems unlikely however that money will motivate Guardiola’s next move and, to have any chance of success, Shakhtar would have to demonstrate an exciting project to the Spaniard.
