Elina Danielian confirms her high rating

Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielian defeated Kateryna Lahno in 8th round at FIDE Women Grand Prix. Three more sets also ended in victory as Anna Muzychuk defeated Alisa Galliamova, Hou Yifan defeated Alexandra Kosteniuk, and Humpy Koneru - Antoaneta Stefanova.

Danielian is leading the Kazan-hosted tournament with 6 points, followed by Anna Muzychuk and Coneru Humpy.

In the 9th round, Danielian will face off against Alexandra Kosteniuk.
