Messi wants Spain to win Euro 2012

Lionel Messi has stated that he would love to see Xavi, Andres Iniesta and the rest of his Barcelona teammates once more crowned champions of Europe, as he throws his support behind Spain's bid to win Euro 2012, Goal.com reported.

"I admit that I have not been following the European Championship, I do not have a clear favorite. But I would like Spain to win because of the teammates I have there," Messi told reporters.
