Zhoghovurd: Tensions rise inside Hanrapetutyun party

Tensions rise in Hanrapetutyun (Republic) party, Zhoghovurd reports, citing its sources. The party has split into two groups. One of them support party’s leader Aram Sargsyan and the other is the team of commander of Metsn Tigran regiment Smbat Ayvazyan.

Zhoghovurd’s correspondent failed to contact Aram Sargsyan, as he was not answering phone calls.

Member of Hanrapetutyun party’s political council, human rights activist Artak Zeynalyan denied split rumors.

The paper reminds that Hanrapetutyun party announced its decision to leave HAK on May 18, 2012.
